The Holy Spirit is a witness! 1 John 4:13 "Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit." Spiritual exercise! 1 Timothy 4:8 "For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come." Physical exercise prepares us for the short run but spiritual exercise prepares us for the long run. Physical training conditions our natural bodies & is only temporary but spiritual training conditions our spiritual being & soul & is eternal. It is important to participate in physical activities for the functioning of our body but the most important thing is to develop our heart, mind, & soul by participating in spiritual exercise. Develop a relationship with Jesus Christ with spiritual exercise by reading God's Word & meditation, praying for spiritual understanding & guidance & obedience to the Word & the Holy Spirit! Pursue Jesus! Luke 8:38‭-‬39 "Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying, Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him." This man was freed from bondage & wanted to pursue & follow Jesus. However, Jesus told him the best way to magnify Christ was to be a personal witness & tell others about what Christ had done for him personally. The Spirit of truth guides you! John 3:21 "But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." Those who believe God's Word & willing to repent & surrender to the Lord, God will transform their lives. The Lord reveals the truth to their inner being. Jesus Christ sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in every believer & to guide them into the truth. John 16:13 declares: "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come." The blessings & favor of the Lord! John 1:16 "And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace." Out of the fullness of God's grace through Jesus Christ, the Lord has blessed us all, giving us continual blessings. God gave the Law through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. Obey the Lord! Acts 5:29 "Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men." The religious & political leaders commanded the apostles not to teach or preach about Jesus Christ & imprisoned them, but God delivered them & they continued to proclaim the name of Jesus Christ! Sometimes the Lord may lead or prompt you to do things that people around you or in your circles don't understand or it may actually offend them. On the other hand, people may ask or demand things of you that the Holy Spirit convicts you or prompts you not to do. Either way, it is most important that you obey the Lord! Job 36:22 "Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him?" God sent the Holy Spirit to teach, lead & guide us in the way of righteousness. God has called teachers & anointed them to teach. But John 14:26 declares: "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." 1st Corinthians 2:12-13 says: "Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual." Cry out to Jesus! Psalms 107:19 "Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses." Praise God that through the name of Jesus Christ deliverance comes to all who will surrender to Christ! Jesus Christ is a Savior & Deliverer. We should keep crying out to the Lord; persistently & diligently seeking him. Hebrews 11:6 declares that Jesus Christ is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him!
